Frank Atisso is the new contributor to 360 GRADI Magazine in the Art section. Ladmilla Medier leaves the magazine for personal commitments: we wish her the best for her future projects. I want to introduce Frank by sharing his biography: in this way, readers will have the opportunity to know him better.
Frank Atisso
I have been an avid reader of books throughout my life, and that, in a way, inspires me to write. My dad has a huge collection of books of all sorts, and I used to devour a book every week when I was in my teens. Eventually, as I kept reading more, I felt like I should test my hand at writing.
I wrote my first set of short stories at the age of 16, and ever since then, I have continued the habit of writing almost daily.
I was first introduced to the world of Second Life in 2010, and it was a world that immediately piqued my interest. Exploring various regions and having new experiences has always been my favorite thing to do in SL.
I used to take pictures once in a while, but my first introduction to art and photography was in early 2020 when I took on as Sim Manager at Eris Isle, a scenic sim (now closed) with an art gallery. I started exploring more art galleries and was fascinated and inspired by what I saw. It also inspired me to take more pictures, hone my craft, and experiment. I worked at FOCUS Magazine & Galleries for a couple of months. I played a major part in the FOCUS Photography Fair in December 2020. I left FOCUS in February because of some inherent differences in opinions that arose and because I felt I could do something more than I was doing there.
Like I was inspired by others’ creations, I felt more people could be inspired if the promotion of art and photography in SL was given enough attention.
This eventually led to Art Korner’s establishment with a close friend of mine, Praesto Ibsen (praesto resident). It took me about 15 days to get the website ready. The inworld location was designed and set up by Praesto, and we finally launched on March 5th, 2021.
The response we have received has been really great so far. People like my writings and the photos I click on. We have received more than 2500 views within a month from about 1200 visitors from 50 different countries worldwide.
I strongly feel the blend of photogenic sims and art that we have on Art Korner eventually helps promote art and photography in SL. A person who comes to the site to look for a scenic sim sometimes finds an interesting gallery or exhibit.

We talk about two ideal destinations for photography in this new issue: Soul of Dreams and Lost Lagoon. In psychology, we talk about Consciousness by addressing critical issues related to what it is and how it allows us to identify ourselves. In photography, we talk about Arnoo Planer and his ability to improvise in capturing “stolen shots.” In the area dedicated to art, we speak of Ciottolina Xue, an artist able to be powerfully communicative with his three-person works. Asahra Lannok is the star of the musical sector of this number of 360 Gradi. She founded a singing school where classes are held in Second Life. In the men’s fashion sector, we talk about TMD events and some look proposals. Finally, we will talk about Camp Italia, an important reference point for the Italian community. An educational destination with many projects in the pipeline.
???????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? is set to be released on April 12th. Among the various articles the magazine offers for this March-April bimonthly: The “???????????????????? ????????????????” of ???????????????????? ????????????????????????, a photographer who likes to call himself a “paparazzo” for his improvisational ability to capture portraits of celebrities he occasionally meets. ???????????????????????????????????????? ????????????, highly appreciated 3D artist who has been sharing with her large audience her works with a strong visual impact and great expressiveness for many years. ???????????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????? ???? ????????????????????????????????????????????????????: in the section dedicated to psychology, we talk about Consciousness as the aspect that allows us to identify and distinguish ourselves from the outside world. ???????????????? ???????? ????????????????????????: a dream location where time seems to be interrupted to give travelers a breathtaking view, perfect for photography.More articles in the issue to be published on Monday, April 12.
We have reached the third issue of 360GRADI Magazine.
The first novelty I would like to introduce is the entry into the team, albeit occasionally, of Serena Domenici. This is an exciting collaboration because Serena loves to write, and she does it with passion. I hope she will decide to be a permanent part of the team, giving the magazine a significant added value in the “destinations” sector. The “brain, mind, and virtual reality” column has a huge success, thanks to Degoya Galthie’s professionalism. I’m getting a lot of positive feedback, and I’m delighted. In this issue, we will talk about the artistic side of Cherry Manga, a very well known artist in the Second Life scenario. Her extraordinariness is her ability to stir emotions and have a strong visual impact. In this issue, we will have the chance to get to know her better. On the musical front, Dorian Kash is the protagonist of this issue. A well-known Italian artist, each of his evenings is a moment of relaxation for the audience and a successful Dorian performance. On the fashion front, we delve into the knowledge of Valentina E., a brand appreciated and known for its originality and quality. I enjoyed personally interviewing Valentina Evangelista, who promptly answered questions while also giving valuable suggestions to all those who wish to pursue a career as a fashion designer. Jarla interviewed SadyCat Littlepaws, a highly regarded photographer, blogger, and blogger manager on the photographic front. It’s an opportunity to understand more about photography and how the world of bloggers and their recruitment works.
