“This exhibition is a tribute to women wherever they come from.”

“Nothing is ever definitively acquired. It will only take a political, economic or religious crisis for women’s rights to be called into question.
Throughout your life, you will have to remain vigilant.”

Merry Christmas, hoping in a better 2021

This year wishing “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year” sounds hilarious. As you know, I live in Italy where this past 2020 we have the most deads number for COVID in the world. This is impressive, especially because doctors and healthcare staff made many sacrifices and their best. But everywhere, this 2020 has been a year to forget.

By my side, I have some bad food intolerance issues that make my life really hard sometimes. It’s difficult for me to take care of the blog and all my usual activities in Second Life like before, but luckily I have Violet, my effortless worker who takes care of many things and promotes art events like I’ve never seen before. I am so happy she collaborates with me on VIRTUALITY.

Sorry, I can’t find many words for this year’s Christmas time, but I am sure you’ll understand.
So, hoping and praying for all of us in a better 2021.

Cyberpunk 2077: that’s why is so fascinating for SL users!

Several Second Life users have taken an interest in Cyberpunk 2077. Let’s try to understand what they like most about this game and if it is worth $ 60.

This fascinating game was released on December 10th and, unfortunately, already has several bugs. The fact that the game isn’t perfect doesn’t stop players from getting hooked on the fantastic graphics of this Gameplay and the photo mode implemented within the game.
Unfortunately, although it took eight years to get Cyberpunk 2077 released, the game is full of bugs. In particular, the bugs are present in the version for Playstation and Xbox.
However, there are also bugs in the PC version. One of the funniest bugs that have been discovered by a player is the one related to an alleged stalker. It appears that one of the NPCs turns into a stalker under certain conditions. In particular, it regularly follows V (who is your character), and it doesn’t seem to be possible to get rid of its presence.

Snapshot

One of the most exciting aspects of Cyberpunk 2077 is the non-linearity of the character. In fact, unlike other games, there are several ways to complete a mission that differ concerning the characteristics of the character we created.
Another of the strengths of Cyberpunk 2077 that seems to interest Second Life users is the photography mode. In this mode, it is possible to interrupt the game and create a real photographic scene in which we can customize almost everything: the position of our Avatar, the clothes it wears, but also parameters such as exposure, contrast, lights, and much more. Inside the game, some filters can be applied to the photograph and several stickers that can help us create a fascinating photo shot.

In this video, I would like to show you some of the beautiful photos taken by Second Life users who started playing Cyberpunk 2077. Some of these lovely images have been posted on Flickr, and I want to share them with you.

Unfortunately, the bugs are numerous. However, it is also true that the first patch has already been released. I guess I’ll be waiting to buy it as there are still so many bugs and glitches.

In any case, it is undeniable that the graphics are fascinating, and the photo mode, which allows you to customize the shot in every aspect, is undoubtedly one of the features of the game that is fascinating to Second Life users. Especially those who are passionate about photography.

“Barock”, Calypso Applewhite at DixMix Art Gallery

Yesterday the exhibition “Barock” realized by Calypso Applewhite opens its doors to the public at DixMix Art Gallery. I went there since I have been intrigued by the beautiful flyer Violet published on VIRTUALITY. I can tell I have not been disappointed viewing the gallery on the occasion of the opening yesterday.

I appreciate Caly’s art for the time, so I am not surprised she performed such an incredible photography exhibition at DixMix Gallery.

As the title suggests, Caly focuses her attention on the “baroque fashion style,” which is evident from the first view. The artist got dressed her avatar with attention to fit that specific time fashion style. I don’t think it has been simply finding all those outfits to capture such images so appropriate for that time (XVII sec).

Caly makes wise use of colors: black, white, and red are the dominant ones. Also, lights and shadows are crucial in art realized with a suggestive cracked effect.

Megan Prumier decorated the room that impeccably hosts the gallery to fit this baroque style. I do love the red lights on the walls and the global mood she gave to the decoration.

That’s why you need a (fashion) blog even if you aren’t a blogger

Have you ever thought about how is important to have a fashion blog? It’s not just crucial for a blogger, but for everyone, also for boys. In fact, this is the only way to easily find what you want to wear in your inventory without creating outfits and paying 10 L$ for each image you upload.

What is your strategy to easily find what you need to wear in a fast and precise way? (Tell me in a comment, please!). My way is to create a fashion blog that I use to catalog my outfits. My strategy uses tags smartly and descriptively, so it’s really immediate to find what I need.

Let’s explore together in my video!
