Please note–> Show begins at 1:00 pm SLT but please arrive at least 15 minutes early for a better experience as I will be flashing textures into your viewer cache. This pre-show display will help you to see the particles more immediately when I throw them…
Please note also that the particle display works so much better when I am not competing with heavily scripted avatars for the sim server’s attention, and that is why I ask you to please reduce your script count and complexity by as much as your vanity will allow…
Dixmix Sound will follow the display with a party and good music…
About viewer settings
If this is not your first experience with particles then you probably have your settings just as you want them…
If you are new to particle lights or not sure, don’t worry. Kurk’s lights don’t require any special settings. Just make sure you have the following set in your Graphics Preferences (these suggestions are primarily for Firestorm users)…
-> Draw distance set to 256 meters up to 512 (if you can) -> Graphics Quality set to High or Ultra (if you can) -> Max. particle count set from 4096 to 8192 (if you can) -> Render Attached Particles (checked in Rendering tab)
Also, when you arrive you will be offered the “Elite” experience for your Firestorm viewer. Please accept this experience (it allows me to set your environment for optimal viewing) and you should set your viewer to “Use Shared Environment” (World > Environment > Use Shared Environment)…
Be sure to render Kurk Mumfuzz fully…
Please note: I should warn anyone who might be vulnerable to any kind of seizures (such as epilepsy) that I can create a lot of bright flashy visual noise and this particle display should probably be avoided. I strongly recommend that anyone who might suffer any kind of seizure should not attend this event…
Finally, a word of appreciation to my friend, Akiko Kinoshi and all the friends of and contributors to Akipelago. Akiko makes a lot of good things happen…
And one afterthought from historian Sarah Churchwell:
“The American Dream” has always been about the prospect of success, but 100 years ago, the phrase meant the opposite of what it does now. The original “American Dream” was not a dream of individual wealth; it was a dream of equality, justice and democracy for the nation. The phrase was repurposed by each generation, until the Cold War, when it became an argument for a consumer capitalist version of democracy. Our ideas about the “American Dream” froze in the 1950s.
Today, it doesn’t occur to anybody that it could mean anything else.
His music was always present in scenes of grandeur, delicacy, mystery, and emotion. In honor of his accomplishments and with heartfelt gratitude, “albedo 0.39,” an improvised concert of sound and light, will be performed. The two artists will perform together at the Metaverse venue, influencing each other’s expressions in real time, even though they are far away from each other in the real world. This exciting event will be broadcast live on our YouTube channel @ Piano Time: Rulie Cisse for everyone around the world to enjoy.
Rulie Cisse is developing its performance activities with the goal of realizing the monetization of its YouTube channel in order to continue to provide you with higher quality performance expressions in real time. Thanks to your warm viewing of our videos, we were able to meet the requirements for video playback time this spring, and we thank you very much for your support. The only thing left to do is to “achieve 1,000 subscribers,” and we will be more proactive in developing new expressions and collaborations. We are looking forward to your continued support.

The song “Cremation” was first performed by Tia Rungray at a live concert to celebrate the release of “MindgEsso” in June 2018, and has since undergone a number of live arrangements. Now it’s time to release it as a single version. With a mainly post-classical approach, Tia Rungray has matured his sound by applying the techniques he tried on “Strukturo”, released in February 2021.
we sincerely thank you for your time, encouragement,
endless support and appearance at grand opening of
EXOPLANET 2– “On the Way Back” installation build by Gem Preiz!
Yesterday for the offical opening we was honored to have more then 100 visitors!
This fantastic support from all of you, give our artist new energy and prove once again that creativity and love have a great deal in common. They enrich the soul & delight the heart on the noblest way!
Your support dear Friends, is greatly appreciated!
Our special thanks go to our amazing SL Blogger´s:
I wish to express my personal thanks for the extra time and effort you have devoted to writing amazing blog´s about Exoplanet 1 & 2 – and with them have shown such great support for art and artist.
Also,
My profoundest thanks to Strawberry Linden for continuously advancing, sharing and supporting art projects in Second Life.
For all of you who have not found the time by now but would like to visit the new installation:
While Exoplanet 1 featured the crew of a space mission preparing to explore extra-solar planets, Exoplanet 2 stages it on the eve of its return to Earth. There is a vast, futuristic space station to visit: comprising many sites with animated and interactive objects; a gallery of fractal images representing planets and their landscapes; and a gallery of SL photo-sketches.
You will receive a Teleport and Windlight HUD during your visit.
Our cheerful welcome and we wish you to enjoy this unforgetable experiance!
