TELEPORT TO TRICK OR TREAT LANE
Trick or Treat Lane is not your typical shopping event. It’s a virtual extravaganza set in the enchanting world of Second Life, where creativity knows no bounds. Whether you’re a seasoned Second Life resident or a newcomer, this event offers something for everyone.
One of the most enticing aspects of Trick or Treat Lane is the exclusive items crafted by talented designers. These creators have put their heart and soul into making unique, Halloween-themed products that you won’t find anywhere else in the Second Life universe. From eerie apparel to spooky home decor, you’ll discover a wide range of items that cater to your Halloween cravings.
As you explore the various stalls and booths at Trick or Treat Lane, you’ll come across a plethora of free “treats.” These spectral gifts are generously offered by the participating designers. It’s like a virtual Halloween candy hunt, and you’re the trick-or-treater collecting the best loot. The best part? Most of these gifts are easy to find, making your shopping adventure a delight.
While most of the spectral treats are hidden in plain sight, there’s a fun twist. Mischievous ghosts have spirited away some of their gifts to undisclosed locations. This adds a thrilling scavenger hunt element to your shopping spree. It’s your mission to unearth these hidden treasures within the designer booths. So keep your wits about you, and you might just uncover some truly unique finds.
To make the most of your Trick or Treat Lane experience, follow these helpful tips:
Wear your favorite Halloween costume, and let your creativity shine. The more unique and spooky your outfit, the better. It’s a chance to show off your virtual style and get into the spirit of the event.
Don’t forget to bring along a treat bag to collect all the free gifts. You’ll need somewhere to stash your spectral goodies as you explore the booths and stalls. What do you mean? You don’t need a trick-or-treat bag in Second Life? Maybe you don’t need it, but it definitely helps your imagination and allows you to immerse yourself in the Halloween atmosphere. Let your imagination run wild!
Keep an eye out for the mischievous ghosts who have hidden some of the gifts. The thrill of discovery adds an extra layer of excitement to your shopping experience.
Trick or Treat Lane is a treasure trove of surprises. Be sure to explore all the designer booths as you make your way through the event. You’ll find new exclusives at every turn, and you won’t want to miss a thing.

Hi, I’m Emma from ILoveEvents, or you may know me better as Oema in Second Life. I’m here to talk to you about a project that Violet Boa and I have started related to events in Second Life. We opened the website I love events.on, which, as the name suggests, deals with events as tools for bringing people together.
In fact, one of the fundamental aspects that I have seen, especially reading the posts of people on my Discord server, is that many people are looking for opportunities for interaction, opportunities to make friends, to spend time with people, to share common interests. It seems like a given, but in reality, finding opportunities to meet each other, even in a virtual world like Second Life, can sometimes be not so simple.
As always, Violet and I have divided the tasks, so Violet in particular deals with artistic and musical events, while I deal with shopping events. However, there is also another category of events that we deal with, namely sporting events, and obviously, even if to a much smaller extent, but still present, events that involve fundraising.
Everyone has the opportunity to enter their own event through a form that I have provided, and from which it is possible to communicate their event to us so that we can include it in the calendar. Our website actually has two calendars: the calendar of artistic and musical events and other minor events, and the calendar of shopping events. In this way, you can keep track of the situation and know that, depending on the events that interest you, you can consult one calendar or the other.
This project is something that Violet and I believe in strongly. In particular, I have always believed in the importance of promoting events through videos. Videos in Second Life are becoming increasingly popular, and this is something that makes me very happy. As a videomaker, as I have always been for many years in Second Life, I am enthusiastic about the fact that Second Life is now home to great videographers, and so I naturally want to share this aspect on my website by hiring people who create videos within Second Life who have the ability and the desire to create them within our project.
Well, the videos will therefore be naturally strongly promoted on iLoveEvents, and in particular they will also be used to promote and spread events, which are a greater form of bringing people together within Second Life. In fact, if it is true that an image is worth a thousand words, a video is worth more than a thousand images.
