CTR ALT DELETE by Traci Ultsch (WVP) the November/December 2024 exhibition @ The Annex of Nitroglobus
It’s been 4 years, November 2020, since Traci exhibited for the first time in SL @ Nitroglobus with her impressive exhibition CAMOUFLAGE. Now eggszackily 4 years later she is back at the gallery with a totally different set of works. The bright colours have been replaced by dark tones and the optimism been replaced by doubts. What happened in between?
A lot! Traci focussed mainly on creating/tuning her own music.
I have always valued Traci for her art, her taste, her personality and her dark humor.
Therefore I am super glad she choose Nitroglobus to exhibit her last SL exhibition (her words….) Traci wants to end where she started 4 yrs ago. However, one never knows if it really ends here …..
On my request Traci created 4 artworks which are for SALE. They are placed on poles in the middle of the gallery.

Exhibition Notes:
In this exhibition, the absence of a defined subject becomes the subject itself, delving into the process behind inspiration, where fragments of thoughts, textures, and moments blend into a space devoid of meaning.
The images and text invite viewers to witness the act of this failing creative endeavor as a dialogue between presence and absence, construction and deconstruction.
These collages reflect moments where the drive to create falters, leaving behind traces of hesitation, uncertainty, and inertia. In embracing this state, the works magnify the struggle to make something out of nothing.
Meaning flickers in and out of focus.
Self censored.
Nothing becomes everything.

About Traci:
Traci retired from this sort of thing a long time ago having died a pauper, surrounded by empty bottles and cats in 1969.
All the work shown since has been cobbled together by contact to traci via various rituals that are performed once a month in some basement in Northern England by people with too much time on their hands.
