Violet and I are very pleased to welcome Zella, the manager of the 2.Life Friends discord server associated with the Virtuality Blog (you can see the invitation to join the server here on the right).
I asked Zella to tell us about her experience in Second Life and to share her passions in the metaverse with us. Here are her words.
Taking on the role of Discord Manager for 2. Life Friends and becoming a part of the Virtuality team to work alongside Oema and Violet Boa is a very rewarding opportunity. Since 2017, I’ve been a part of the Second Life community, and I love it. In my early days, I jokingly agreed to host for my friend when they were ready to start DJing for clubs in SL. He took me seriously and held me to my word. Little did I know that this experience would lead me to an unknown passion of mine at the time; promoting and socializing with others. Since then, I’ve hosted some incredibly talented artists and helped to promote many friends and acquaintances along the way. I love what Virtuality stands for and the efforts Oema and Violet Boa place into their works, so I jumped on the opportunity to join them on this journey. My goal is to bring forth entertaining interactions, timely responses to questions asked, and an overall pleasant experience for everyone.
