This Sunday, January 11 at 1:00 PM SLT, Hermes Kondor opens Kondor Art Café – Sunday Salon, a new social art space set atop the main museum building at the Kondor Art Center. Conceived as an open-air café and cultural meeting point, the space invites visitors not simply to arrive, but to linger.
Polished wood floors frame a central DJ and performance pavilion, while clusters of comfortable couches and chairs—many in worn leather—encourage conversation and ease. A small food bar offers snacks, reinforcing the sense that this is a place meant to be enjoyed slowly, among friends. Sculptural figures of a dancing couple and a dancing woman animate the terrace, echoing the gentle social rhythm of the Café itself.

The opening is accompanied by After Hours, a new six-piece digital series by Hermes Kondor. The works depict young men and women dressed in polished, contemporary business attire, set within warm, amber-toned modern interiors. Light streams through open doors, shaping moments of presence and quiet encounter. The refined atmosphere of the series resonates with the Café itself, where globe lights placed along the floor cast a soft, modern glow across the terrace—extending the exhibition’s sense of polish and intentionality into the surrounding social space.
Managed by Pris of Ofrenda Nocturna, the Sunday Salon is supported by carefully curated music from DJ Pris and DJ Medea, creating a warm soundscape where art and conversation naturally coexist.
Kondor Art Café feels less like a venue and more like a shared pause—a place where art is not only viewed, but lived. On Sundays, it is not somewhere to pass through. It is a place to stay.
