We are immensely proud to present ~ WHERE LIGHT REMAINS~, a story-driven particle performance created and performed by my wonderful, long-time friend Delain Canucci. Hosted with gentle grace by Morgaana La Fae, this special showcase is a deeply personal narrative journey where light and motion are used to tell the story, guiding our deepest feelings and telling an unforgettable tale completely without words. Beyond its immense artistic beauty, this performance carries a vital real-world purpose, proudly supporting Relay For Life.
At its core, the performance delves into an intensely emotional theme that affects so many of us: a journey through love, loss, and the quiet strength of memory. The story revolves around a woman dealing with cancer and her partner, who stands by her side throughout. As they journey through love, fear, and the reality of a final goodbye, the story beautifully explores what remains after someone dies and how true love never truly ends. It is a cinematic journey through grief, healing, and, ultimately, hope, demonstrating that some bonds simply change form and remain with us indefinitely as a guiding light.
Delain Canucci has poured her heart and soul into her immersive craft in Second Life since 2009. What began as quiet experimentation has grown into an incredible commitment to combining cinematic music, visuals, and deep storytelling. Delain is also the brilliant creative mind behind Color Alchemists, which specializes in advanced particle systems and large-scale light-based environments. For Delain, particles are more than just technical effects; they are a delicate language used to create simple, profound moments that people can truly feel and connect with.
