Soundscape – Ozak and the Dolls – Tribute to Sanctuary

On April 18th at 12 PM SLT, the sands of Sanctuary Beach will become the stage for a truly unique experience: an immersive sonic journey and living story, “The Little Wooden Dancer,” brought to life by Øzak and the Dolls in a heartfelt tribute to Sanctuary.

The Story: Freedom in the Magic of Sanctuary

The story begins with a little wooden doll, carved to dance but confined within invisible bars. Her dreams, however, are full of sea winds and the hope of a place called Sanctuary—where no one is caged and every soul is free to move.

As the afternoon unfolds, Øzak’s electronic soundscape guides you through the doll’s journey: from the hush of captivity, through poetic narration (in both English and French), and finally into awakening and freedom. The story is set with three simple but evocative scenes on the beach, each marking a new step on the doll’s path to liberation.

The first part of the performance invites you to sit, listen, and let your mind wander—close your eyes, let the music and story carry you. In the second hour, the doll leads everyone into celebration as Øzak shifts the energy into a joyful beach party, filling Sanctuary with dance, laughter, and connection beneath the open sky.

This event is for the heart as much as the ears. It’s a reminder that even when we feel caged, freedom is possible through dreaming, expressing, and joining in joy with others.

Whether you choose to relax on the sand or join the party when the beat drops, this afternoon promises to be unforgettable.
