The Souland Gallery will host a key event which starts on March 18th at 1 PM SLT. The event serves as a major partnership display between galleries which will showcase Debora Kaz’s permanent exhibition space from her role as owner and curator of Art Experience.

The installation, Invisible Cities – Default Configuration, functions as an active system which creates an immersive experience for viewers. The system requires visitors to move through space because its design combines repeated elements with separate sections.

Debora conducts her research about female bodily movements through two specialized research areas which show different structural tension conditions. The lower level design uses a central staircase as its main element while showing broken visual elements that display ongoing efforts to modify the space. The space contains wireframe cities and reactive sculptures which occupy wall niches while a pixel animation loop at the rear functions as a digital heartbeat which needs to be noticed.

The upper level of the space maintains high tension through headless digital sculptures which appear from light beams and body parts that create an unstable visual experience. The work does not seek to guide you; the system is already active, and the body remains in a state of perpetual adjustment.

Souland Gallery serves as an official partner which presents Debora’s art through this detailed exploration of her work. The opening will feature a music set by the outstanding artist Noir Tater. Through her specialized soundscape, she will create the necessary atmospheric sound which allows complete experience of the complex installation.

We invite you to see these hidden cities operate while you become part of a group which protects invisible cities.
