There’s a special kind of ache that comes not from things breaking down, but from their unwillingness to let go. In her latest installation, “No Conditions to Rest”, the visionary Debora Kaz invites us to step into a world where rest never comes—where exhaustion quietly becomes the backdrop of existence.

Opening April 12th at 12 PM SLT at Art Experience, this powerful work creates a space where stability feels like a memory, and life’s machinery hums on, caught in a cycle of never quite falling apart, but never finding peace either. Debora’s art is a gentle but profound meditation on what it means to keep moving when you’re long past tired—a feeling many of us know all too well.

Within these walls, water becomes the very definition of the space—flowing, distorting, never letting the images fully fade but never letting them rest. The female form appears not as a complete figure, but as glimpses and fragments—always present, always just out of reach—speaking to the ongoing tension between presence and absence, longing and loss.

Violence here isn’t an exception; it’s woven silently into the fabric, repeated and normalized until it almost disappears. The installation reveals the quiet persistence of systems that keep going, even when they should have let go.

Adding to this atmosphere, DJ Frank Atisso will guide us through the emotional landscape with his deep, immersive soundscape—helping us feel both the beauty and exhaustion held within the space.
