Some nights, art becomes more than an experience—it becomes a memory that glows within us. April 18th at Sanctuary was such a night. As the waves lapped gently at the shore, Øzak and The Dolls carried us away on a journey of sound, story, and emotion that we’ll never forget.

On behalf of Stevie Basevi, the heart and guiding spirit of Sanctuary, myself as PR Director, and every art lover who gathered with us, we want to share our deepest gratitude with Øzak. What you created was more than a performance—it was a living, breathing story. Through your deep, immersive soundscapes, the poetry of your bilingual narrative, and the haunting visual dance of the dolls, you gave us a space to feel, reflect, and dream.

Since that magical evening, Sanctuary has been full of whispers about the “little wooden dancer” and her journey to freedom. Guests are still reaching out, hearts full of wonder and hope, asking the same question: When will Øzak return to grace our shores once more?

Øzak, you brought a rare and precious energy to Sanctuary—a spirit of experimental courage and boundless creativity. You are always welcome here, and your music, your vision, and your magic remain with us like sea glass treasures.

Until the stars align for our next meeting, we carry your art in our hearts. Thank you, Øzak, for gifting Sanctuary and all who love it with a night of unforgettable beauty.

With warmth and gratitude,
Stevie Basevi – Sanctuary EST. 2008 Owner
