June 7th, 12 PM SLT
There is a marvelous, deeply moving alchemy that happens when a community of artists pours their collective soul into a grand vision of creation. So in the virtual landscape, where worlds are spun from imagination alone, theater is a sanctuary of human emotion and shared wonder. On the 7th of June at 12 PM SLT, the gates of the historic Sanctuary stage will open for a truly magnificent theatrical event: The Secret of Spring, a breathtaking production by the Gimle Creative Team.
This musical is more than a beautiful combination of movement and sound; it is a warm celebration of renewal, friendship, and the unseen, quiet forces that lead us from the edge of winter into the light. If you know how much love it takes to create live dance and deep storytelling together on stage, this performance is a stunning tribute to creative devotion. The audience is invited to step right into an enchanted forest where every leaf, every passing breeze, and every single heartbeat is a necessary movement in nature’s great symphony.
The story takes place on a stage dusted with the last snow of the winter, where the thin veil between worlds starts to break. According to legend, the Green Door is a secret portal known only to the most magical creatures of spring and to the souls who still believe in the old magic. It opens this mystical gate and carries us effortlessly through the Village of the Elves and the powerful arrival of the fauns into a joyful celebration led by the fairies. As the story unfolds, the stage becomes a magnificent sea of flowers, and the powerful emotions of the night before spring break are released worldwide.
To create a world of such intense aesthetic beauty requires a phenomenal collective of dreamers and technical masters. The whole production comes alive in a gorgeous soundscape created by Jallu Raymaker, whose work as the storyteller becomes the vital link between our world and the magical one, leading the audience with great warmth and wonder. The theater is filled with soaring melodies and surprising beats, with a sweet touch of mischief that makes his musical compositions anything but predictable.
This rich soundscape is the absolute foundation to the live choreography, an intricate collaboration meticulously guided by Jändi Laville and Tazzy. The movement on stage gives a unique voice to the archetypes of nature’s awakening. With a playful, curious grace, Tazzy, Baila of Bloomingville, and Neevi embody the fairies, the tiny, joyful hearts of the awakening, who with song and dance ignite the first sparks of the season.
Behind them stand the Elves, the earnest, precise builders of spring: Penelope Jewell, Vira Broome, Aquaria Amethyst, and Suzi Herberg. Meticulous hands ready the physical paths, buff individual raindrops, and diligently fashion the buds, possessing the ancient powers to beckon the Fauns forward. When the Fauns arrive—brought to life with wise, grounded strength by Ashton von Perkele, Ara Gondor, Dan Incognito, Chase Nightfire Joubert, and Pelle Herberg—they safely wake the forest animals from their long winter sleep, bridging the magical and natural worlds. Finally, the gentle, patient Flower Spirits, Kicki von Perkele, Stella Guardian, and Jändi Laville, glide with graceful fluidity, humming soft, tender lullabies to help the flowers open wide to the morning sun.
This production is handled with a deliberate care that shines through every detail. The sweeping, transformative scenery of Milo Enyo is a perfect fit for the ethereal sky settings of Aquaria Amethyst. The digital atmosphere shimmers with a living presence thanks to Ashton von Perkele’s particle artistry and graphic designs, while Ull Eyre’s thoughtful costume choices beautifully define the vibrant character silhouettes. Sepp Schimmer captures the visual memory of this passing theatrical dream and does the filming with the eye of a storyteller. Technical advisor Arrehn Oberlander Metaharper keeps the behind-the-scenes mechanics perfectly in tune. Proudly brought to you by FANATIK/Lumina.
The magic doesn’t stop when the curtain drops. The night will seamlessly transition into an exclusive afterparty to celebrate this stunning confluence of art and community. The celebration continues with a vibrant musical landscape once again provided by Jallu Raymaker, allowing the audience and the creative collective to share space, laugh, and dance together under the stars.
As the last notes fade away, the show gives you a beautiful epilogue—a poignant reminder that when the Green Door closes, it’s not the end; it’s a soft pause. In every bloom, every song and every new beginning we make together, the magic of spring is eternally alive.
